Ben Leiper, is a busy young man, who in the afternoon plays as a goalkeeper for Mancaster City and in the morning is a medical student. The comic book's groundbreaking script for the time involves Ben Leeper in a series of social issues in which the young man is usually trying to help a fellow man find a solution to his problem. In this, several times, some of his professors at the medical school he attends or even agents of football teams get in the way. His team is initially playing in the West of England but always manages to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup, thanks to Ben's amazing saves.

To mark this release, we have agreed with DC Thomson to undertake the cleaning and digital editing of the original pages. Glue marks were removed, yellowing due to age was eliminated, and black lines appearing in the outlines from various figures were cleaned up. Some pages did not even exist in the archives, so we had to resort to scans from the magazines in which they had been published. There were instances of pages that had balloons or even parts of the original design torn off, so these sections had to be merged with corresponding pieces from the scanned issues. Every single page featured in this new edition has been digitally edited and modified by Little Cupid Publications to be as faithful as possible to the original design created by the creators.
